FIA represents manufacturers specialize in the latest technologies in the HVAC and Plumbing industry. Our market focus includes both the residential and commercial sectors, specializing in high efficiency boilers and water heaters, commercial hydronic equipment and energy efficient heating controls. Being a manufacturer representative, FIA is New England's point of contact for sales and product support.

Job Description – Inside Sales

Fluid Industrial Associates, Inc. (FIA) is currently seeking a full time employee for an Inside Sales position.  The applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree or higher. Previous experience is preferred.

Core functions of this position include:

  • Customer service and product support for local distributors,  mechanical contractors, and the engineering community 
  • Application engineering, system design, and product selection
  • Support of outside sales team
  • Commercial bid/spec estimating
  • Quote generation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Collaborates well in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and an eagerness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills; personal interaction with co-workers and customers, phone conversations, and email correspondence
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and building systems
  • Basic ability to read construction documents and review drawings, schedules, and specifications
